Our mission is to bring the stories behind the Teen Appeal Newspaper to life through an oral history podcast that captures the memories of the individuals who were involved in this once-thriving publication. While exercising our interviewing skills, production expertise, and passion for storytelling, we have brought this under-appreciated piece of local history back to life, illuminating the important role of journalism in shaping the youth of Memphis.
